This exhibit presents the inferior view of a foot with an ulcer progress to cellulitis and sepsis. The first inset shows the foot with the ulcer. This then progresses into the development of cellulitis, inflammation, and infection. The cellulitis begins to worsen and infection starts to spread. The last inset shows the spread of the bacteria throughout the body via the blood (sepsis).
