This exhibit shows the anterior and cross sectional views of the abdomen with the skin and subcutaneous tissue removed. Abdominal anatomy highlighted in these views include the peritoneum, small intestine, abdominal wall, descending colon, ascending colon, and the retroperitoneal space.
