Intra-operative Visualization of the Biliary Anatomy
This exhibit shows the intra-operative visualization of the biliary anatomy in a patient with an aberrant biliary anatomy. The biliary anatomy in this view shows the liver, common hepatic duct, cystic duct, gallbladder, and common bile duct. The patient with an aberrant biliary anatomy is characterized by scar tissue, high cystic duct, and the gallbladder with chronic cholecystitis and acute inflammation.
