This exhibit displays the anterior view of the knee in various Kellgren-Lawrence stages of knee osteoarthritis. Kellgren-Lawrence stages included in this exhibit are doubtful (stage I), mild (stage II), moderate (stage III), and severe (stage IV). Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease that is caused by the deterioration of cartilage at the ends of bones.
