This exhibit shows the steps in a laparoscopic cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder). The first step includes retraction of the gallbladder and dissection of adhesions. The second step in this procedure is the clipping of the cystic duct and artery. The third step includes transection of the duct and artery. The final step is removal of the gallbladder.
