This exhibit displays the anterior view of the abdomen showing steps of a laparoscopic tubal ligation. The abdomen is first insufflated with CO2 through a trocar placed into the umbilicus region. The laparoscopic instruments are then inserted into the abdominal cavity in order to cauterize the fallopian tubes.
