Left Thoracotomy and Biopsy of Anterior Mediastinal Mass
A mass inside the mediastinum is located anterior to the aorta. An incision is made on the left side underneath the arm, then a biopsy of the mass is taken. The incision is then closed and a chest tube for drainage is placed.
