This exhibit displays a fetus in the womb during delivery in which there is a complication causing shoulder dystocia and injury to the brachial plexus of the baby. To amend this issue, the physician places the mother in McRoberts position. McRoberts position consists of flexion of the maternal hips against the abdomen to assist in childbirth.
