This exhibit displays the exterior ear with a visible carcinoma on the concha of the ear. Mohs surgical intervention is required to treat this skin cancer. This procedure encompasses creating an initial excision to remove the visible cancer. The tissue is then further excised, mapped, and evaluated under the microscope.
