The anterior view of the lymphatic system and the enlarged view of a lymph node in a patient with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (cancer of the lymphatic system). Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is characterized by lymphocytes mutating into cancerous lymphoma cells that uncontrollably proliferate and replicate, causing the lymph nodes to enlarge. These lymphoma cells spread throughout the lymphatic system.
