Open Reduction Internal Fixation of the Left Wrist
This exhibit shows the palmar view of the left wrist with a distal radius fracture undergoing an open reduction internal fixation. This procedure involves creating an incision to expose the fractured radius. A reduction is then performed on the exposed fracture in order to place the plate and screws for fixation.
