This exhibit was created for the Fundao Tailings Dam Investigation in Brazil. This dam was to keep sand and slimes separated by dikes. Construction of berms would be used throughout the dam. Eventually the stress caused Liquefaction: process whereby loose susceptible materials such as sands lose strength due to pore pressure increase and behave like a liquid rather than a solid.
