Ureteral Narrowing Preventing Passage of Stone Fragments
Smaller pieces join the flow of urine and course out of the kidney into the ureter. Fragments are not able to properly pass through the ureter into the bladder due to a narrowing of the ureter 1.5 cm above the ureteral orifice.
