This case involved a cerebral mass that was directly adjacent to the left lateral ventricle. It was essential for us to show the relationship of the mass to the ventricle, so this 3D model was created. By slowly rotating the brain, we could clearly reveal the relationship of the structures involved. This animated presentation of the anatomy provided a much better understanding than any traditional illustration ever could.
